The Jujamcyn Theaters Corp. (pronounced ju-JAM-sin), formerly known as the Jujamcyn Amusement Corporation, is comprised of five Broadway theaters in New York City, which include Al Hirschfeld, St. James, Walter Kerr, Eugene O’Neill, and August Wilson Theatres. This corporation is currently the third-largest company on Broadway; the second largest theater owner is the Nederlander Organization and the largest is the Schubert Organization. Although Jujamcyn owns only five of Broadway’s forty theaters, this organization has been recognized for their impressive business model and practices; at times, the Jujamcyn Theaters have been associated with generating approximately one-third of the gross revenues on Broadway.
Founded in 1956, Jujamcyn Theaters, for many years, was owned James H. Binger, former Chairman of Honeywell International Inc., and his wife Virginia McKnight Binger. Presently, Jordan Roth, Paul Libin and Jack Viertel are the company's President, Producing Director and Creative Director, respectively while Jordan Roth and Rocco Landesman are co-owners of the theaters.
