4. Finding Investors
Once a producer is onboard, he or she is in charge of assembling the enormous financial resources that will be needed for production.
5. The Production Team
The Director brings together a production team to better enact his vision for the piece. The production team consists of the Costume, Sets and Lighting Designers. In addition, a Music Director, Orchestrator and Choreographer would be chosen and would begin working with the Director in bringing to life the words and music on the page.
6. Casting
With all personnel in place, casting can begin. Actors are chosen for their physicality and performance talent. A Casting Director is used to bring in possible actors for auditions for the creative team, who eventually make the final casting decisions.
