Hair
Now, I was thinking the other day about hair, and that the weird
thing about it, is that people will touch other people's hair. You will
actually kiss another human being, right on the head. But, if one of those hairs
should somehow be able to get out of that skull, and go off on its own, it is
now the vilest, most disgusting thing that you can encounter. The same hair.

The subject of hair: it is upsetting to us if it grows where we don't want it and equally or even more disturbing if it fails to grow where we do want it. Hair is for most of us, an important part of our persona. We even make efforts to ensure our pets are groomed. In the wild, a lion's mane helps him appear regal, as the "king of the jungle". While many don't spend much time focused on their hair, others obsess about it.
Please see the posts to come regarding common concerns about hair. As a dermatologist with 22 plus years of experience, I assure you that I have encountered just about every complaint and concern one could have about hair, be it a desire to see it flourish or an unwanted enemy. In my practice, I remove hair with lasers and stimulate hair growth with a selection of modalities. My goal is to help you navigate this issue no matter where on the spectrum your hair concerns exist.
